Last week was the first week of my 52-week project that I decided to start. I kept it simple this week. The beginning of the year is a great time to look back on the previous year and to make resolutions for the new year. I decided to take last week and make time to reflect on the small moments in my life that made 2015 a great year. I was gifted with a “Good Things Jar” from a good friend / colleague of mine a few years back. It’s a beautiful old Atlas Glass E-Z Seal jar with a glass lid. The object of the game is that each time something good happens in your life, you write it down and stick it in the jar. At the end of the year, you open the jar up and take the little scraps of paper out and read through all the good things that occurred throughout the year. I know that there were many more happy and good things that happened last year, but just the handful that I remembered to write down makes this habit all the more worth the while.
Here’s to 2016 being filled with more Good Things to fill my jar up with. #SJP52Weeks

I SO love this idea! My husband and I started doing this in 2014 but by February sort of forgot about it. I will have to start this up again in 2016, maybe once this babe decides to arrive 🙂 Xo
I am fearful that when my third arrives in May I will slip… but I am making plans so that this will not happen…I have calendar reminders everywhere. Wishing us both luck! 🙂
such a great idea!!! Positive vibes and good thoughts is the way to start everyday! Love this!!
What a good idea!
I’ve often thought of doing this myself, but have never gotten around to it. Maybe I’ll start on my birthday next month? Thanks for the reminder and encouragement. x
This is so cool. I have heard about this before but I have never started one. I think I need to do it this year. Thanks for the boost.
